Our consultants work with our customers and business partners both on short-term assignments to provide spot, Informatica expertise, as well as longer-term efforts to ensure a decision support project is delivered in accordance with the customer's expectations.<br/><br/>Working either independently or with a team of Informatica and/or Business Partner consultants, senior consultants take a primary point of contact role with clients. Our senior consultants must bring a combination of technical depth, written/verbal communication, and client management skills.<br/><br/>Consultants utilize our decision support methodology, Velocity, on all engagements, with a particular emphasis on the Architecture, Design, and Deploy phases. Ensuring that clients leverage Informatica Best Practices in architecture design and performance tuning are common challenges our senior consultants address with clients.<br/><br/>Though in-town assignments are given the highest priority, Informatica Professional Services Senior Consultants must be willing to travel. Efforts are made to ensure this travel is limited to your home region and occurs during the work week. Our success is due to the knowledge that we can confidently stand behind every product we offer as well as the unlimited potential for personal and professional growth that a position in Sales affords us.<br/><br/><b>Your Opportunity</b><br/>The role reports to the Pre-Sales Director, Regional Markets, and we are ideally looking for someone with a strong background in data integration or data and database archiving.<br/><br/>This role will be instrumental to our future success and growth in the region and will support the regional Sales and partner network with in-depth expertise to:<br/>Proactively engage with Informatica&#8217;s Distribution channel partners and customers to demonstrate all technical aspects of Informatica&#8217;s product and effectively communicate Informatica&#8217;s key differentiators to Distribution Partners and prospects in the region.<br/>Manage the technical sales cycle working with Partner Account Managers and Presales Consultants to ensure generation of revenue.<br/>To own the technical agenda with responsibility for explaining, training, analysing and selling the technical aspects of the solution to new partners and customers.<br/><br/><b>Main <b>Core Responsibilities:</b></b><br/>Technical Management for a number of partners and customers within the region as agreed from time to time.<br/>Pro-active enablement of Distributor and Partner technical teams.<br/>Lead the technical sales cycle, assisting the distributor and partners in all technical aspects of the sales process.<br/>Design and delivery of customer presentations and distributor and partner enablement.<br/>Assist distributors and partners to respond to RFIs or RFPs, communicating the Informatica differentiators.<br/>Qualify on a technical basis any technical proposal being put forward by the distributors and partners.<br/>Help distributors and partners to ensure technical closure on all opportunities.<br/>Be able to articulate a technical solution in a way that will address a business requirement.<br/>Advise on architectural configuration.<br/>Report on all technical issues to the Sales Manager for the region.<br/>Identification of additional technical opportunities within the customer base, and new opportunities within your region.<br/>Analysis and understanding of customer needs and regional opportunities in order to promote the Informatica value proposition.<br/>Delivery/management of Proof of Concepts, engaging product specialists as appropriate and enabling distributor and partners SCs via mentoring and coaching.<br/>Maintain and continuously develop technical knowledge.<br/>Share knowledge across the team and continuously develop and enhance personal and team capabilities.<br/>Respect and adhere to customer and internal Company rules and disclosures at all times.<br/><br/><b>Your Qualifications</b><br/>- Minimum of 5 years experience in a pre sales consulting role.<br/>- Excellent written communication skills, experience of preparing proposals, responses to ITTs.<br/>- Strong technical awareness.<br/>- Excellent experience of managing proof of concepts on customer premises.<br/>- Understanding of database, architecture, networks and networking protocols.<br/>- Understanding of ETL and the broader Data Integration & Data Quality market.<br/>- Preferably also experience in MDM and Data Archiving.<br/>- Ability to communicate a technical message to a non technical audience as well as a technical audience.<br/>- Presentation skills, both verbal delivery and content design.<br/>- Ability to work as part of a virtual team in delivering a proposal.<br/>- Ability to read, speak and understand English fluently; another European language would be an advantage.<br/>- Fluent in Russian.<br/>- Willingness to regularly travel throughout Russia and CIS region, Europe and to the USA dependent upon operational requirements.<br/><br/>Core competencies required to perform this role:<br/>- Influential or Consultative level communication skills<br/>- Problem solving & Analytical Thinking<br/>- Learning Acumen & Enablement<br/>- Business Acumen & Commercial Drive<br/>- Strong technical knowledge of database technologies<br/><br/><b>Department:</b>  Pre Sales<br/><b>Region:</b>  EMEA<br/><b>Country:</b>  Russian Federation<br/><b>State:</b>  Russia<br/><b>City:</b>  Moscow<br/><b>Interest:</b>  Sales Consulting<br/><b>Interest Category:</b>  Technical Sales Consulting<br/><br/>Full Time/Part Time:  Full Time<br/><br/><b>Organization: </b>Sales Consulting]]></description><pubDate>Thu, 02 May 2013 00:00:00 GMT</pubDate><link>http://careers.informatica.com/job/Moscow-Senior-Presales-Consultant-Job/2579218/?utm_source=J2WRSS&amp;utm_medium=rss&amp;utm_campaign=J2W%5FRSS</link><guid>http://careers.informatica.com/job/Moscow-Senior-Presales-Consultant-Job/2579218/?utm_source=J2WRSS&amp;utm_medium=rss&amp;utm_campaign=J2W%5FRSS</guid></item></channel></rss>
